Once we receive a referral, our team reaches out to the family to discuss the concern, determine the right type of service, and schedule. Families do not need a referral to begin, so a referral simply gives us the clinical context you are seeing.
Children’s BMC is not contracted with insurance companies. We provide superbills that many families submit for out-of-network reimbursement, and pricing varies reflective of time and complexity. It helps families to know this before their first call. For a fuller picture of the family experience, see our page for parents and caregivers.
Families receive a detailed written report and recommendations. With appropriate consent, we coordinate with your office.
Referring providers and families come to us from across the Puget Sound, including Seattle, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Bainbridge Island, Olympia, and Gig Harbor. We are used to coordinating with schools and providers throughout the region.
