Talk to our TeamOur team of experienced pediatric psychologists and neuropsychologists has more than 50 years of combined experience in specialty pediatric care in children's hospitals. We work with complex cases, medically involved children, and the full range of developmental concerns which means accurate assessment and evidence-based recommendations your family can trust.
We work hard to make our office a welcoming place, complete with soft blankets, calming artwork, snacks, and frequent visits from Bella, our office dog. Our goal is to make the process comfortable and empowering for both children and caregivers.
We don't just administer tests we take the time to understand who your child is. We look at how your child functions across school, home, and social settings, including their strengths, what makes them engage, and what feels challenging. When we share results, we translate findings into specific recommendations you can actually use. Parents often tell us they feel heard and supported throughout the process.
We partner closely with parents, schools, and physicians to make sure everyone is on the same page. We attend IEP meetings, provide detailed written reports, and welcome your questions along the way. You’re not alone in this.

No. Families can contact us directly to schedule. Some insurance plans may require a referral for out-of-network reimbursement, so we recommend checking with your provider if that applies to you.
If you’re noticing ongoing learning, behavioral, emotional, or developmental concerns, or if a teacher or doctor has raised questions, an evaluation can provide clarity and a concrete plan. Common signs include academic struggles, attention challenges, anxiety, social difficulties, or changes in behavior. When in doubt, a conversation with our team can help you figure out if an evaluation makes sense.
Keep the conversation simple and honest. You might say something like: “We’re going to see someone who helps kids understand how they learn and what they’re good at. They’ll learn about your strengths and what feels challenging right now.” Avoid language that suggests “testing for grades.” Most children do better when they understand what to expect.

We are not contracted with insurance companies and are private pay. We provide superbills that families can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Some insurance plans will approve a benefit exception that reimburses at the in-network rate. We are happy to answer any cost-related questions during your initial call.
